Status - May

I will try to make a post like this more often, maybe once a month to keep you updated on things.

A few days ago I got Dojin Work and Gintama v18. They will be released by next weekend, possibly earlier (if I can get myself to take a break from watching 24).

Then I ordered the next Otomen and Lucky Star volumes, I will probably get them next month and release them as soon as I can.

After that it's We Were There (Bokura Ga Ita). I plan to make it a batch release with La Corda d'Oro and some rescans so that could take a while.

Another thing, I will work on the blog in the next few days, update some project pages, create new ones, etc. Just making sure everything's working.

That's it for now. I'll post again soon.

  6. Hey,

I don't know if you also take requests. But I'd really appreciate it if you could scan Oishinbo - Viz released a short series of this monster last year. I'm hoping that this might trigger somebody to also sub the anime ...

    Cheers!
P.S. Thanks for the HnC - lovin' it!

I will not buy Oishinbo. Doesn't look really interesting to me and only 7 volumes released, that are just some best-of volumes, I don't really like it.

There isn't really any genre that I prefer. There are a few that I don't like/read, mostly shounen-ai/yaoi. If anything I prefer light(hearted) stuff right now. I'm not a fan of some heavy tragedy or horror series, though there are a few of those that I like.
Some of my favorite series are UxU (sadly it's on hiatus right now), GTO, H2, Ichigo 100%, Midori no Hibi and Yotsuba&! as you can see, nothing really heavy...

WoW, Doujin Work! Hilarious! Your awesome, man. BTW, do you know if TokyoPop finished Cyborg 009? I really want to read that manga but I don't know if they did a special edition with only 10 volumes or it was dropped XD

  16. I have no idea, never heard of this manga. If you read some things from the wikipedia entry for the series you'll know as much as I do...

Or you could check the books themselves:

As far as I can see it ends to v10.

Yeah, it seems like that... thanks a lot for the web page. It has a lot of interesting things. Though, I'm not pretty sure 'cause in wikipedia says they're 36 volumes. Could be 'cause they' re different editions, maybe? Well, never mind.

  22. I've read the first two chapters for Houkago but yeah, the reason I stopped was because it's scanlated so irregularly.
