  4. hmmm...the price is pretty good and free shipping is a plus too. The book cost 6 EUR and since I still had something left over from the previous donations I'd only have to pay 2 EUR myself.
Shipping would take 7-10 days according to their site, also acceptable. I'm going to think about it and might order next week from them.
I usually don't check internationally for shops, except if I can't get the book otherwise (like Tokikake from Australia, some other stuff from the US, UxU from France...) so thank you for bringing this one to my attention.

If you are in the Europe region it SHOULD be faster abit. Usually it comes 3 weeks tops to SEAsia over here. I've bought tonnes from here so its all safe. I'll be glad to send you over a 10% discount voucher from their 'summer festival' promo if you like. Or you can send one yourself - if ya know how to cheat XDDD

A few tips to get the lowest prices :
There is actually TWO sites of Book Depository. One is US based and UK based.
    US : http://www.bookdepository.com/
    UK : http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/

And this is weird enough that the prices of both websites are DIFFERENT. Sometimes the book you want is cheaper on the .com site rather then the .uk site. Wierd, but i think it had to do to offset shipping charges thingamajig. But the process/service/delivery time would be the same for both sites. XD

So, you HAVE to shop between this both site by changing the .com and .co.uk often before buying anything. Or you would regret it DD: .

Also, every month they would have some excuse to give out those precious precious 10% discount code so , google often for 'book depository coupon code' ^^. Seems like this month you gotta find a buddy to get the coupon as the above link.

Next step, if you notice the currency selection on the right? Play with it. Sometimes it is cheaper to buy books in DIFFERENT currencies according to the market rate. For example the UK pounds exchange rate is cheaper then the Euro today and you can save 1-2 bucks :) . You can pay in any currency selection at the end of the day - even if your shipping is to the US. But you may be charged extra from your bank if your bank issues fees on foreign currencies exchange. But a few cents saved is a-ok, ne? :D

To be honest,I've been in love with BD for half year now. And nobody told me the above tricks so I was weeping at the amount of dollars wasted lol. So really really hope this helps you and anyone else in a bit <3 <3
So yeah. Hope this help you a bit senfgurke-san~

  6. I've noticed, that there's .co.uk and .com but didn't look for any differences. .com is cheaper for Otomen but I probably wouldn't play around with the currencies, since I have no interest to compare/convert everything myself...I pay with PayPal in EUR and they'd convert it back anyway and I have even less of an idea of the rate they use...plus the fees they collect for converting.
BD seems to use a pretty accurate rate anyway. v11 cost $9, which is 6.25 EUR if I use the rate I found on Wikipedia (which is a week old) and they sell it for 6.24 EUR (this morning it was at 6 EUR though, a bit cheaper). bol.de was also like this in the past. A couple of years ago, when the rate was even better for us in the EURO-Zone, some manga were <5 EUR and the price changed pretty often (every couple of days). Nowadays they just are a bit more expensive but the price stays the same.

Anyway, I digress...I just got a donation and ordered the book. If they can keep the delivery time of 7-10 days I'll probably order more often from them.

  7. As I'm a leecher of mainly otomen meself, I hope BD sends 'em quick then too, lol :DDD
But for vol 12 do inform us if you are gonna order from them and its price. It's best when it comes out for preorder - much cheaper. I may spare a couple of euros. :)
Thanks for making the order nyan~
Ps. You can use the current rate at www.xe.com - paypal charges a small fee after conversion so your end figure would be around a few euro cents higher. ^^
Ps 2. Don't take this the wrong way, but I do hope you could compare each currency rate offered by BD in your local currency.. I often find myself saving at least 1-2 usd worth.. paypal would 'pay' BD with the currency you selected. And mebbe use a 10% disc. voucher 8DD.

Thanks and much love for everything then~
