I'm really torn on this one. On the one hand waiting all this time for v13, which might never see the light of day, really dampened all my enjoyment, maybe attachment, I might have had for this series. On the other hand seeing a few scenes, remembering some things while editing the pictures brought back a bit of this. I don't know if you can compare it to nostalgia or something...but...meh...

This series should be my last re-scan of the really old stuff. Everything I did before FMP Overload, that wasn't even properly leveled. Everything else is either already done as good as it gets (from me) or okay-ish double-page-spread-scans. I hope to re-scan the rest of this "okay-ish" stuff this year, as there isn't really that much left. The main hurdles or going to be Ueki and Cheeky Angel, the "long-series", 36 volumes combined. I already have plans for these though.

Expect more volumes of this for the rest of the week.

Enjoy

  2. No, they were never released by Tokyopop and the English publishing rights apparently went back to the Japanese owners, so who knows what's happening with those or if anyone else is going to pick this up.

  3. There are no english versions of last 4 volumes in existence. Official releases killed the scanlation efforts, and after official releases were dropped at vol 12, it was game over.

The only hope is that some scanlation group will pick up where official releases stopped. Licensing by another company is simply not going to happen.

  4. This is one series I really wish scanslators would pick up again. With Tokyopop effectively dead, it's not like they're going to be trying to stop anyone from finishing up the last 4 volumes.
